Columbia River Gorge Adventure Elopement, OR

This adventure elopement photoshoot was such a dream! Chelsey and Jake are an incredibly sweet couple from California. They love hiking and are an extremely active couple, so they knew they wanted a challenging hike with a rewarding view. It was such a joy to work with a couple that loved being outdoors as much as they loved each other. They were so at home on the difficult trail.

Even though I’ve lived in Oregon for over 10 years, it took a couple from California to get me up to Mitchell Point. And wow, it was truly incredible. I couldn’t have asked for a more beautiful view to capture their love. Also, that weather! It was sunny, no snow, it doesn’t even look like February. But the wind, wow. I loved the movement on it created in her hair and the way it brought everything to life.

How did I find myself on a gorgeous, windswept mountain top? When I saw that a styled shoot organizer (Becca Carrigan) was looking for photographers to hike up to Mitchell Point in the beautiful Columbia River Gorge for Chelsey and Jake’s elopement, I immediately contacted her.

It was an absolute pleasure to capture Chelsey and Jake, and I can’t wait for the next adventure elopement!
