The connection with your baby begins long before their arrival, and a maternity session is the perfect way to remember that. I love to capture the excitement of soon-to-be older siblings, as well as the heartfelt connection between parents. My goal is for moms to feel pampered and well taken care of.
The maternity photoshoot that we schedule is all about you and the incredible woman that you are! Maternity sessions may be booked as a single session or as a package with your newborn photography session. We can go outside to one of my favorite locations (weather permitting) or get more personal in home studio. Maternity gowns and other clothing pieces that photograph beautifully are part of my large collection.
I provide a thoughtful and luxurious portrait experience for the busy, expectant mom that allows you to focus on the moment rather than the details and stress of planning. The studio wardrobe includes couture dresses that fit any body size. On site hair and makeup is available for an additional fee to truly make you feel beautiful and pampered. On the day of your session, you get to show up and let us take care of the rest!
Maternity sessions are relaxed and intimate, focusing on the wonder of pregnancy and the beauty of new life.

The first thing to do is to get in touch. I can’t wait to hear from you. :) Even though we haven’t chatted yet, let me say CONGRATULATIONS on your new baby! This is such a special time, and you’re going to cherish the images we capture together. Let’s connect today, so I can answer all your questions, and we can plan for your newborn photography session.
1. Get in touch
My maternity photography studio has a beautifully curated wardrobe with both couture dresses and more classic dresses. You are welcome to wear your own outfit, use something from my closet, or a combination of both! We can choose to do your session in my studio or outdoors (from April-October). Browse my portfolio to gather some inspiration, or we can come up with something entirely new when we chat.
2. Choose your style
Once we find a suitable date, you’ll pay your creative fee and sign a basic photography agreement. Then your date will be secured and on the calendar!
I only book a limited number of maternity photography sessions each month, so booking early is highly recommended. Keep in mind that maternity sessions are best done between 28–34 weeks.
3. Book Your Newborn Session
I will either meet you at my home studio or at an outdoor location decided on previously. I will guide you through all poses and also prompt you for some more candid, fun photos. Maternity sessions usually take 2 hours to give ample time for any breaks needed. Outdoor sessions take place 2 hours before sunset.
4. Enjoy Your maternity Session
About a week after your session, you'll come back into my studio to review your gallery. You will then select your favorite images that you would like for final editing. Once you know how many photos you love, you will purchase your heirloom art work. Printed work may take 4–6 weeks to arrive, depending on chosen items. You will also receive a gallery link to all of your digital photos of purchased art.
5. Choose — and Love — your maternity Photos.
Once your heirloom artwork has arrived, you will come back to my studio and see your printed images for the first time! You will review your artwork products and take them home to display and love. These heirloom products are guaranteed to last for at least 100 years and are perfect for passing down through the generations!
6. Pick up your heirloom art
The investment for my maternity studio sessions starts with a $250 session fee. This fee is for the photography session itself, consultation and styling, photographer’s time and talent, use of my studio and client closet. All photos, prints, and digital files are sold separately.
That's all the initial investment you'll need to make! Following your unforgettable maternity session, I'll invite you back to review the edited photos in person. The best part is that you'll get to see everything and only purchase the images you love in print, on canvas, or as digital files.

WHAT IF I'M NOT SURE IF I WANT TO DO A MATERNITY SESSION?
I totally get it! Pregnancy is a time when our bodies are growing and changing, and we may feel unsure about capturing this time. More often than not, I hear clients who say that they wish they would have chosen to document their pregnancy because it was a precious milestone they can never get back. During the session, I will help with styling and guide the posing in a way that is flattering and makes you feel radiant and beautiful.
WHAT SHOULD I WEAR?
I have curated a wardrobe collection of beautiful, flattering gowns for expectant moms that I encourage my clients to utilize. You are more than welcome to bring any wardrobe items of your own as well! Wardrobe is the most important part of these sessions, and we work closely together in planning your session and ensuring that you feel confident and beautiful. There are also wardrobe options for dads and siblings that you are more than welcome to use. All clients will receive a prep-guide before the session with personal styling tips of colors and prints that I have found photograph best.
CAN MY PARTNER AND OTHER CHILDREN COME TO THE MATERNITY SESSION?
Absolutely! This is a significant time for your entire growing family. Partners and other children are more than welcomed and encouraged to attend!
IS HAIR AND MAKEUP INCLUDED?
Hair and makeup is not included in the session fee, however hair and makeup can be added for a fee.
HOW LONG AFTER THE SESSION UNTIL I SEE MY PHOTOS?
You will come back to my studio 1–2 weeks later to view your images. During that appointment, you will choose the images that you love and wish to print. Heirloom photo products will be picked up about 4–6 weeks after your viewing and ordering appointment. Digital images of all images purchased will be included and a link to download the images will be sent to you.
DO YOU OFFER DISCOUNTS FOR BOOKING THE MATERNITY + NEWBORN SESSIONS TOGETHER?
Yes! Sessions can be done individually or combined. When booked together, you save $200.
