The Experience

I know this season of life is so busy. So, my assistant and I work hard to create a tailored experience that is simple and easy for you. My home studio is equipped with only the best for mom and baby, and we will be there every step of the way to ensure that the result is just perfect. And as far as your partner and the kids being on board, don't worry, we've got you covered there too. We are quick and efficient – we've wrangled more than a few toddlers in our day, and we are up for the challenge – we promise!

Congratulations! After we've chatted on the phone and set up a time to meet, we have our consultation at my home studio. Getting to know each other is a major part of what makes a great session. It puts everyone at ease and sets us up for success! We will go over your goals for the session, wardrobe and styling, and vision ideas to design the perfect session for you.

1. Consultation

All the preplanning is done—now relax and let me do what I do best! Fun-filled, happy and carefree, sessions are anything but stressful. It's your time to love on your family and I will create image magic for you. Enjoy your session, and you will marvel at how quick and easy it was!

2. Your Session

This is the best part! Viewing your images come to life can be an emotional journey. During this appointment, we will work together to design something beautiful for your home. From large gallery walls or an album, to simple displays, we will create the perfect artwork for your family.

3. See your images

In 4–5 weeks, your artwork will be ready to pick up at my studio. Once your portraits are hanging on your wall, you can enjoy them for years to come—and even pass them on one day. And that's not all—many of my families visit year after year to update their gallery walls or album collection with their changing family. I love seeing you each year and watching your family grow!

I work closely with you to create artwork from your images that is perfectly designed to match your home decor. With artwork that flows seamlessly and compliments the interior design of your home, you will be excited to show off images of your family.

wardrobe & styling

Deciding what to wear for your session can be the hardest part of getting family portraits taken. Don't worry, I've got you covered! Clothing does make all the difference in your final images, and I have everything you need so that you feel beautiful and your final images shine. I have a selection of both fluffy couture and simple dresses for expecting and new moms as well as baby outfits for sitters and an extensive collection of carefully curated newborn wraps, headbands, and simple props. We are always adding new options to keep it fresh and high end.

If you prefer to wear your clothing, I will send over ideas with clothing and color suggestions. For outdoor sessions, we will coordinate with the location you have chosen to ensure that your clothing works well with the beauty of the location where we are shooting.

Sessions & Investment

I offer the following session options to meet your individual needs. Creative fees do not include digital files or products. Printed artwork and complimentary duplicate digital files are ordered separately after your session at a post-session viewing appointment, where we help you select your images and design printed heirloom artwork that is perfect for your home.

outdoor Maternity

Outdoor maternity sessions take place within 2 hours pf Portland, Oregon on weekends or available weekdays. Specified client closet wardrobe pieces are available depending on location chosen. These sessions are 2 hours.

Creative fee is 250-300 depending on location.

Studio Maternity

Studio maternity sessions take place in my home studio on weekends or available weekdays. Full use of my client wardrobe is available for both mom and partner. I offer all jewelry and accents as well. These sessions are 2 hours.

Creative fee is 250.

Studio Newborn

Studio newborn sessions take place in my home studio in the mornings on Mondays and Fridays. I offer all props and wraps. Full use of my client wardrobe is available for both mom and partner. I also have some toddler outfits. These sessions are four hours.

Creative fee is 300.

Studio Milestone

Studio milestone sessions are typically done during 6-month, 9-month, and 1-year. These are shorter sessions that capture how much your baby has grown since they were a newborn! This is also an option for 1-year cake smashes. Parents and siblings can be included as well. These sessions are 2 hours.

Creative fee is 250.
