It was a gorgeous day for a Horning’s Hideout wedding in North Plains, Oregon.
Cece gazed out the window, looking over her shoulder as her mom carefully buttoned up her wedding dress. They smiled knowingly at each other, sometimes allowing tears to fall as they felt the emotions of this big day. Cece was hours away from marrying Jason, the love of her life. Her bridesmaids – Valencia, Fatima, China, and Parin – held her hand, hugged her, and exclaimed how beautiful she looked. Cece was excited to see Jason, with the love of her friends and family behind her.
Jason was close by, tying his tie and lacing up his shoes. He laughed with his parents and best friends. He was ready to see his beautiful bride.
Jason headed down the long dirt road to Horning’s Hideout solo, his five groomsmen in their cars. Soon enough, they all eased into their respective parking spots, and his groomsmen – CJ, Tom, Tom, and Simeon – rushed to meet him. As they joked around with Jason, an onlooker would assume these guys had known each other their whole lives. These groomsmen were gathered to support Jason, which was what bonded them together like brothers.
Fast forward a few hours, and the wedding party had arrived, the ceremony site was arranged to perfection. Cece’s father and brother anxiously waited to see her for the first time in her wedding gown. As Cece touched her father’s shoulder, he was overcome with emotion as he turned to see his beautiful daughter.
Soon after, it was time for Jason’s first look. He stood on a bridge, waiting patiently to turn around. He slowly faced her, and they shared a few private moments together. They stood upon a wooden bridge that spanned a calm lake, brimming with lilies, and just held each other. This could be their last moment alone before becoming husband and wife. They each took a deep breath and then prepared to make their way to where the ceremony would soon be held.
And suddenly, it was happening. Cece had gone into hiding to await her big moment, and the bridal party had walked down the aisle to the gorgeous boho octagonal altar amongst the signature breathtaking trees and greenery of Horning’s Hideout. Then Jason finished walking down the aisle with his parents. He shook his father’s hand, and then the Fraticelli parents took their seats. The music began and Cece and her father began walking down the aisle. The family pastor that Cece had grown up with in Pennsylvania greeted her and the ceremony began.
The pastor welcomed everyone, Cece and Jason exchanged beautiful vows, placed rings on each other’s fingers. And then they were married. Officially. Happily, ever after.
At last, Cece and Jason had done it. They’d traveled across the country and across years to get here. They’ve found their forever. Congratulations Cece & Jason!
A huge thanks to everyone who made this magical Horning’s Hideout boho wedding possible!
